Paul Moss candidate for Allen County Commissioner

Meet Paul Moss

Paul Moss is a lifelong Allen County resident, proven conservative, and experienced community leader running for Allen County Commissioner in District 3.

Raised in a family shaped by patriotism and duty, Paul learned the value of public service at an early age. His mother Jeanne worked as an assistant to former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, where she met Paul’s father Lindy, serving as a Special Agent in the FBI, prior to moving to Fort Wayne to practice law. Those experiences helped instill a strong conservative philosophy that has guided Paul throughout his professional career and public service.

A graduate of Snider High School and Indiana University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, Paul built a successful career as a healthcare executive. He spent decades working in Northeast Indiana’s healthcare sector, helping lead innovative partnerships between hospitals, physicians, and employers. As a CEO Paul focused on improving access to care and controlling costs for employers and working families. His private sector experience gives him a unique perspective regarding the importance of smart management, strategic planning, and common-sense decision making.

Paul has also dedicated much of his life to serving the Allen County community. He was elected to the Allen County Council for two terms, including time as Council President, gaining deep experience with county budgeting, fiscal oversight, and the inner workings of local government. Paul understands how county government functions, how to cut unnecessary red tape, and how to work constructively with other elected officials to deliver results for taxpayers, even when there are disagreements.

In addition to his work on the County Council, Paul served four years as an elected member of the St. Joe Township Advisory Board, and currently serves on the Allen County Public Library Board of Trustees. Paul has also served on the Allen County Plan Commission, the Dupont Hospital Board of Directors, the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo Board of Directors, the St. Joseph Hospital Board of Directors, and the Board of Stop Child Abuse and Neglect. He is a Leadership Fort Wayne graduate and has volunteered with numerous local organizations.

Paul has served the Allen County GOP for decades – serving as a Precinct Committeeman periodically, beginning in 1988, followed by Ward Chair. Paul has also supported dozens of Republican candidates over the years. Paul Moss is the proud father of two successful adult children. As a father and lifelong member of the community, Paul understands the importance of safe neighborhoods and responsible, transparent use of taxpayer dollars. He brings steady leadership, GOP loyalty, and real experience to the role of County Commissioner, with a focus on efficient government and practical solutions that strengthen Allen County.
